Our Shipping Practices

Wall Art

Before shipping, most wall artwork is shipped using the following shipping steps:

  1.  The canvas is wrapped in glassine paper and secured with masking tape on the backside of the painting.
  2. The artwork is then taped between two pieces of sturdy foam board for added protection.
  3. Next, the artwork is bubble-wrapped, with only the smooth side of the bubble wrap touching the surface of the foam board wrapping artwork, and secured with masking tape.
  4. Foam corner protectors are then added.
  5. The bubble-wrapped package is placed into a box, which is then heavily padded with crushed, brown packing paper.
  6. Finally, the packing box is sealed with packaging tape to close the box on all sides.

3-Dimensional Wall Art

For 3-dimensional wall art, the following steps are taken to protect the artwork during shipment:

  1. For MOST 3-dimensional wall art where objects have been attached to the canvas, a cardboard sleeve will be attached to the canvas by a rubberband or a tie to prevent the 3-dimensional elements from being crushed during shipment.
  2. The canvas is then wrapped in glassine paper and secured with masking tape on the backside of the painting.
  3. The artwork is then taped between two pieces of sturdy foam board for added protection.
  4. Next, the artwork is bubble-wrapped, with only the smooth side of the bubble wrap touching the surface of the foam board wrapping artwork, and secured with masking tape.
  5. Foam corner protectors are then added.
  6. The bubble-wrapped package is placed into a box, which is then heavily padded with crushed, brown packing paper.
  7. Finally, the packing box is sealed with packaging tape to close the box on all sides.

Table/Desk Art

All table/desk art will be shipped and attached to the easel that accompanies it. The canvas portion of the artwork will be covered with glassine paper and secured with masking tape on the backside of the painting. The artwork with its easel will be placed into a shipping box that fits the artwork and easel’s size and will be packed heavily with crushed brown packing paper for shipment. The packing box is sealed with packaging tape to close the box on all sides.

Which Carrier Services Are Used for Shipping?

Most U.S. wall art shipments are shipped via UPS or FedEx while international shipments vary depending on location. Table/desk art is shipped by USPS or FedEx depending on the table/desk art size and delivery location.
