In the artist’s 20×16” mixed media abstract painting, Bronx I, she created her disillusion of the city she had recently moved to in 2011 signifying money, power, violence, and respect all happening under a midnight sky. The mixed media piece is set on a black painted canvas, topped with purple square floral decorated paper, then splashed with gold-colored paint. The canvas is intentionally ripped twice for effect.
