The first piece in the artist’s new line of floral series encumbering the artist’s favorite flowers, Morning Glories on Silver I is a reminder of her adolescence when she would pick morning glories on her way to school for her first-grade teacher. Blue-violet morning glories dance on a silver background trimmed in a metallic dark gray. Three other similar-style works with different flowers in this series include Sunflowers on Silver I, Lilies on Silver I, and Orchids on Silver I. A perfect combination of paintings for any wall.
