Known for her three-dimensional musical instrument paintings, the artist created Graffiti Electric Guitar I as a fun, vibrant version of the electric guitar paintings she normally paints thinking about her youth, garage bands, her time in the Industrial area of the South Bronx where there was a lot of graffiti under the overpasses and the things she holds close to her heart.

This painting comes alive and off the canvas with real guitar parts affixed including a pickguard and volume and tone control knobs.
